Description:
A portrait of my mother. I used an old barely discernible photo as reference. It was very underexposed, with washed out color. I wanted to bring this moment in time, back to life as a painting. I did like the way the light in the photo caught her form and facial expression as she looked out a window. I am glad she got to see this painting before she passed away in April of 2009.
